How To Make A Blog Using Weebly

Welcome to CPBT's tutorial on how to make a blog using the Weebly website builder.

To get started, you must create a Weebly account. You can head over to the website by click this link here. After the account is made, you should be redirected to another page.

To start a new blog, you should be at the User Homepage. You can access that by clicking this link, if you are already logged in. You should see a box, and in the box it should say "You don't own any sites. Create one." Here is an example.

You will then be redirected to a page which will hand you over 3 different options. You can click on any one of them, based on what you want, but I would recommend Blog for a Club Penguin Blog.

Afterwards, you will be presented with many different options, based on what you want the blog to look like. Choose one you like, and pick the color you like too. Remember, you can always change the theme later, so don't worry if you don't like it later.

Once all the theme has been selected, wait for the page to finish loading. A GIF will pop-up, explaining the difference of the new features of Weebly. I recommend watching the video to fully understand how to make the most of your new blog.

Now its time to choose the domain name of your website! If you don't have any money, select the first option. Try to come up with an original name for your blog. My domain name is clubpenguinblogtools.blogspot.com, but if I were to put it on Weebly, it would be clubpenguinblogtools.weebly.com. If you have some money to spare, and like Weebly's domain hosting, select the second option and come up with a domain name. It will not have a .weebly, which is a nice feature. And the last option is if you already own a domain name, and want to connect it to the website. I don't have any money, or a domain name already, so I'l be going with the first option.

And its finally finished! Look in the sidebar for our guide on how to customize your new blog. If you enjoyed the tutorial, why not share it on a social media website?
